Kim joined the staff in 2002 as director of children’s ministry after teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in Willow Springs, IL, and practicing on her own 3 children. Kim gets her “kid fix” each weekend in Treasureland and is thrilled to work with so many great volunteers who love Jesus, love kids and love serving. Faith Church is dear to Kim’s heart since it has been her home church since childhood and the place she met her husband, Mike. Away from church, Vanderzee family time is spent camping or attending the kid’s sporting events. You may be surprised to find out Kim loves to fish and even taught her husband how to fish.
